SEATTLE (Reuters) - The Puget Sound area is being engulfed in a buzz around one man's website in Seattle. A 26 year-old male by the name of 'Mike' has encapsulated the city's active online community by providing a detailed account of his life in a humorous light for the entire world to see.

After a quick perusal of MIKETOWN.COM anyone can sense that 'Mike' is truly a unique character who isn't too ashamed to open his life for all to view.  Based on the tagline, "All Mike, All the Time" the website surely delivers. Professor Serge Vaudenay of the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Lausanne was quick to comment that the appearance of an egocentric, self-centered twenty-something was merely a misunderstanding of his his tagline. The women of Seattle agree.

Visitors have the functionality to add their comments to MIKETOWN.COM website, and a number of them have already done so indeed. Browsing through the entries can show visitors from all over the United States as well as Estonia, Australia, Denmark and Germany. This elusive 'Mike' surely gets around, but we were able to catch up with him for a latte at a Starbucks in Seattle.

There, the Connecticut native informed us that he was simply out on the internet to have fun and provide a sense of entertainment for his friends and family.

The adoration in Seattle is growing. "I go out around Green Lake and Discovery Park at least for two hours every day looking for him," said Emily Langton, a graduate student at the University of Washington. She added that she wasn't the only coed at the UW to be so fanatic in catching a glimpse of the instant Emerald City celebrity.

"One time I thought I saw Mike. I was positive it was him. So I ran and attacked him asking him for a date," said an anonymous 25 year-old female Wallingford resident. She was sorely upset when she confused the actor Matthew McConaughey (news - websites) for Mike. "Oh well, one day he will be mine!" she exclaimed throwing her arms up in disgust.

"I never expected it to be such a hit. I thought it would stay low-key," the unemployed software consultant added..

Right. After sending out numerous holiday cards announcing the launch of his website, sticking MIKETOWN.COM stickers all over Europe and handing out business cards in downtown Seattle, he had to have known that the website was going to get gain major popularity due to his advertising and good looks.

For some, the website is not enough. Visitors are asking, nay, begging for MIKETOWN.COM merchandise. One even inquired about a theme park based on MIKETOWN.COM. "It's all being considered. Trust me," said Mike nibbling on his scone, "I don't want to grow too big, too quick. This isn't going to be a passing fad. Miketown is here to stay!"

So the story goes on. Mike lives life as he did before the launch of MIKETOWN.COM but the women of the Pacific Northwest have been changed forever.
